A Summer in Venice

Well, we’re open.

Thank goodness for that. It’s been a relatively uneventful, stress free few weeks – but tech, previews and press is always a load ready to be shed.I’ve tried to steer clear of reviews, but I hear there not too bad and we’re hearing lovely things from people who have seen the show.', 'It’s strange to have said bye to Prasanna. It’s so much his show but it has to just be ours from now on , and of course we are in safe hands with Rosie Jones. The members of our company who are doing both shows have their Provoked Wife Understudy run next week and then it’s Venice’s turn and then… show call for all. The RSC work their companies hard. All very well for someone just in the one show to say (and not understudying) but I know just how hard it is, 10 RSC productions in.', 'We are blessed with a fantastic company. Such a funny, talented, naughty bunch, and my fellow sole-Venetians Jodie and Stephen couldn’t be better mates to grapple with each night.', 'It’s going to be a wonderful summer and I am properly ready to get to be a dad now I’m not always in the theatre, Carys is having a great time so far and it’ll be so lovely to spend a summer in Stratford with her and her brilliant mum Mariam. Wish us luck.', 'Venice will continue to be preserved until September 7th. Book tickets and find out more here.', 'Venice Preserved with Michael Grady-Hall and Jodie McNee', 'Michael Grady-Hall in Venice Preserved photo by Helen Maybanks', 'Michael Grady-Hall and Jodie McNee in Venice Preserved photo by Helen Maybanks', '\n\n', '', '', '',
