2023 to… now

A catch up...

-Twelfth Night

I had the best time of my career playing Feste in Prasanna Puwanarajah’s production over Christmas time (24-25). The best team, the best cast and the best time… and there could be news I suppose.

-A Regime Change

I got to run around pretending to be a solider in the HBO/Kate Winslet's black-comedy The Palace, which then became The Regime. Catch me in Ep5 getting shot at by Matthias Schoenaerts, being cross with Henry Goodman and David Bamber and heroically saving Kate Winslet’s life… no spoilers because there’s an Episode 6.

-Adventure Department

Series 2 of our comedy show saw Leah Harvey, Jonathan Slinger, Alexandra Gilbreath, Alfred Enoch, Beatie Edney, Rob Rouse, Peter de Jersey, Mina Anwar and Jemima Rooper come on board for some silliness along with our regular crowd. Catch a Western, Austin, Slasher and Roman Epic spoof wherever you get your podcasts or at AdvDept.uk. I recommend it, we won Best Comedy Show at The Buxton Fringe, so they liked it!

-Some filming

I’ve just filmed a bit as a wanker copper on Pierre and took a trip to Emmerdale to fix someones locks, and filmed a little bit in Gus Barry’s lovely short Hoard.

-Teacher and Directing

I’ve spent more time working at East 15 Drama School over the last few years. Directing a third year production of Much Ado About Nothing. Leading 1st and 2nd year projects on Uncle Vanya, Three Sisters, The Seagull, As You Like It, Romeo and Juliet and Hamlet. Working with 3rd years on audition prep, and working with both the Fight Performace BA students and Physical Theatre BA students on Shakespeare Masterclasses (get me).

I’ve continued to work for West End in Schools in both Primary and Secondary settings, often delivering workshops on Shakespeare but also Poetry, Science, History and Mental Health, and have begun deluvery their workshops in SEN settings, which has been an utter joy. My work as an Education Practitioner with the RSC continues, working on their Schools Workshops in Stratford-upon-Avon, Playmaking Festivals around the country and on their Next Generation production Two Gentlemen of Verona. I’ll be doing more work with them on their Summer School this… well, summer.

-And excitingly...

...there’s news to come… I f***ing hope… there is... i just can't say what yet...
